To celebrate the start of the Australian Cricket season, Optus has teamed up with former international cricketer, Kevin Pietersen, to share an infomercial about how he watches Australian
cricket games hands-free and without using his mobile data.
Touted by Kevin to be the next big thing for cricket fans, the prototype Hands Free Cricket device (HFC) is made from a light weight shell that can be tailored to exact specifications so the phone is held at the perfect distance to watch the cricket.
To support Kevin and his HFC, Optus has pulled together an all-star cast of Australian cricketers,including Nathan Lyon, Usman Khawaja, Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc, alongside the likes of TV star Lynne McGranger, Tom from The Roundabout Crew and actor Neel Kolhatkar, to rally behind Kevin’s infomercial showcasing the versatility of the HFC.
