Optus were looking to promote their 4G Plus Network. Their fastest network ever, visually represented by the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt.
Creative Agency, The Works, engaged Emotive as Production Company to produce TVCs, and a multitude of content across different various platforms showcasing the benefit of speed to consumers. Live at the Speed of Bolt #SpeedofBolt was the creative platform used to bring this campaign to life, tapping into the entertaining side of Usain Bolt’s personality.
Emotive brought on Director Darcy Prendergast from Oh Yeah Wow, being a multidisciplinary studio trained in animation, VFX and live action, this strategic partnership lent itself to having only a short time-frame to film with Bolt. Shot entirely in studio at Docklands Melbourne, Emotive best managed Bolts’ time by creating bespoke sets, as well as green and blue screen sets to move him efficiently between takes.
The Works and Emotive also worked closely with Big Red and We Are Social to capture additional social video content and retail creative.
