Optus & Skitbox

Optus needed to talk to their core target audience of 30-54 year olds for consideration of Optus as a fixed supplier for all things NBN, data speeds and broadband. They wanted the content to both inform and entertain.

Emotive enlisted ‘Skitbox’ to create a series of social videos for Optus.

The Skitbox crew’s unique form of twisted-female comedy often taps in to relatively ‘normal’ life situations and stereotypes, taking them to the extreme.

In this series we feature Skitbox in ‘everyday life’ situations chatting about specific Optus messages in a hilarious and extreme way.

The content was amplified across both Skitbox and Optus’ social channels. Emotive also identified, recruited and activated relevant social influencers to share the content to a wider, engaged audience.

The results were impressive. The audience were heavily engaged with the content, resulting in a high engagement rate, as well as strong organic reach for the entire campaign.
